The Súmmum aims to welcome guests to ‘seventh heaven’ – expectations that are met at this converted 15th-century palace with just 18 rooms. We enjoyed the trappings of the hotel’s Parietti Suite, which came complete with a 19th-century painted fresco ceiling. But it’s not all old school – a Porsche Macan S came as the perfect perk for exploring the rest of the island in style.
