Our long drive was rewarded with a complimentary Cream Tea on arrival at Soar Mill Cove. The Makepeace family (what a great name) have run this seaside escape for years, and they’re famous in the industry for their warm, genuine hospitality. We were sold as soon as we learnt that Audrey Hepburn was once a guest. The property is also proudly dog-friendly, so the four-legged member of our family felt welcome too.
