Literally going head-to-head with the Fairmont (it shares the same spa and pool deck) the Raffles is the Filipino import of the infamous Singapore luxury brand – complete with its own Long Bar of Singapore Sling fame. Our suite was just one of 32 and was huge, with all the historical touches for which the brand is known – white marble, wooden floors and a romantic, standalone, roll-top bath, not to mention a butler to draw it.
