In Marrakech, it is hard to find minimalism. But we discovered a modern, understated escape from the madness of the medina here at the Riad Mena. We loved the contemporary aesthetic – the work of interior designer and hotelier Romain Michel-Meniere – that offered a tonic to the norm – but to its absolute credit, we still felt like we were in Morocco.
