In contrast to the rich, ancient-world, old-fashioned aesthetic of Jerusalem, the Mamilla offers contemporary designer digs, set right in the city’s historic core. It is unofficially a boutique hotel, in its look, feel (moody, sophisticated and colourful) and approach to service – except it has nearly 200 rooms. We loved the property’s holistic spa and its rooftop eatery overlooking Mount Zion.
