We marveled at the magical location of this resort and spa, up in the hillsides of the Berwyn Mountains, overlooking its namesake, a lake in one of Wales’s best nature reserves. This Victorian country house with unparalleled views and an iconic, fairytale tower is the perfect base to explore beautiful North Wales. On the one rainy day we experienced (it is Wales after all), we willingly disappeared into the property’s award-winning spa.
