As its name suggests, this property is fit for a queen. Set in a restored 20th century architectural gem, we couldn’t ask for a better location – on Gran Via, with its back facing Chueca. We were at the heart of it all with many landmarks just a short stroll away – but at the end of a long day of exploration and revelry, we could pass through its doors and enter an oasis of calm. An old, click-clack elevator transported us from the lounge of this boutique property to one of the hotel’s 74 well appointed, recently renovated rooms – ours featuring a stunning juliet balcony and bay windows that opened onto the main drag below – but others in our party enjoyed large rear-facing terraces, perfect for a pre-game aperitif. The H10 is a wonderful city bolt-hole made all the better by its fabulous and friendly team.
