A once-in-a-lifetime, tent-hotel experience in the far reaches of northern Thailand, the Four Seasons Tented Camp, Golden Triangle takes outdoor luxury to a whole new level. Picture the scene… a meeting point of three countries, fifteen tents in a secluded jungle setting, flanked by the mountains of Laos and overlooking Myanmar’s Rauk River, copper baths, elephant trekking and river boating. Wow. Just, wow.

There are some incredible things to do in the Golden Triangle area. Camp hosts at the Four Seasons Tented Camp, Golden Triangle will help you tailor something wonderful and wild to make your stay truly memorable. We enjoyed a two-hour hike from Wang Lao, learning about village life and discovering, agriculture and northern hill architecture. We also thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Thailand’s sacred elephants in their natural habitat, learning about conservation practices, elephant etiquette and basic anatomy before observing bath time, a cherished daily ritual for them and their mahouts. |
