It’s rather easy for us to use stereotypical words to describe the Four Seasons Marrakech – oasis, sanctuary and escapism spring immediately to mind. But this hotel, just outside the Medina, is more than this. It is set away from the chaos of the walled city, five minutes from the airport and equally close to the delights of ‘new’ Marrakech.
From the balcony of our suite, we marvelled at views of the snow-peaked Atlas mountains. In the 17 hectares of manicured gardens and glistening pools below, we rubbed shoulders with other Four Seasons Marrakech guests from across the world (including a couple of celebrities), plus the owners and visitors to the property’s integrated Four Seasons Residences.
We enjoyed a rub-down in the hotel’s contemporary spa, as well as a voyage of discovery to learn about Berber culture. It is not your picture postcard Moroccan Riad, but if you’re into a dedication to service and world-class hoteling, then the Four Seasons Marrakech is a great choice.

While you’re Out There |
Head out on an adventure in the Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountains with the team. It’s a phenomenal experience that takes in a slice of Berber life. We liked it so much, we wrote all about it. |
