The hotel’s name gives a lot away – this was once a monastery. Rather more luxurious today than it was back then, the property is best known for its Michelin-starred restaurant, but the hotel is also a great getaway – calming, sumptuous and oozing charm. Our spacious suite had a private terrace that brought out our inner lounge lizards – it was so tempting to stay in.
