This has to be the most divine dive watch we’ve seen in ages. Its diamond-like-carbon gunmetal bezel and case may be muted and low-key, it’s true, but there’s a devilish hint of menace in the red detailing of its signature trident-shaped seconds hand counterbalance, inverted triangle at 12 o’clock and text denoting its 600m/2000ft water resistance (which will come in handy on a yachting adventure!). Powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW200 movement, an automatic calibre complete with anti-shock system, date wheel and 38-hour power reserve, the Christopher Ward C60 Abyss will be a reliable timekeeper wherever the OutThere traveller deems to take it.
