If you’re looking for a stylish, welcoming Buenos Aires bolt-hole, then Casasur Art is just the ticket. The property is located in Recoleta, a very trendy, international ‘suburb’ that’s a short hop from the Microcentro. In a city not short of a place to stay, ranging from old-school guest-houses and new-world multinationals, this is a lovely, high-style, yet low-key boutique option, with just 36 rooms and a ‘call me by my first-name’, ever-helpful team.
What is great about this place is how it sums up Buenos Aires. It really has a chilled Porteños vibe, whilst being big on gloss, yet intimate and friendly in its approach. If traffic bothers you, our top tip would be to ask for a room at the back of the hotel, but you will miss out on the sights and sounds of uptown Buenos Aires from your balcony. The rooms are what you’d expect of a small, luxury hotel, but extremely comfortable. The only problem with this is that you might be tempted to sleep-in (particularly if you’ve been partying B.A. style the night before), when you should be skipping out to the adventure that this amazing city has in store – but we trust you’ll find a way to do a little bit of both.
