The Explorer is literally the flagship of two National Geographic exploration crafts sailing the Southern ice, equipped to safely navigate the polar waters and provide an exhilarating, up-close and personal style of exploration, just like Lars-Eric Lindblad did when he first opened up Antarctic eco-tourism back in the 1950s.
