In an effort to innovate and get creative when it comes to socially-distanced F&B, the Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam are offering guests the opportunity to pre-order afternoon tea, or lunch or dinner too if you fancy it, while floating along Amsterdam‘s infamous canals.
Floating diners will enjoy an intimate and private dining experience, picking up dishes of their choice from the jetty in front of the hotel. You might be interested to try the Dutch delicacy ‘bitterballen’, although a stroopwafel (ok, a pack of stroopwafel) is more our flavour. You can also opt for The Grand Afternoon Tea, but our tip would be to order a dozen or so fresh oysters and a couple of bottles of hand-selected summer wine by Marco, the hotel’s sommelier and you’ll be on your way.
As for other diners? Don’t worry, you won’t touch them, not even with a barge pole.
