Many of you will know that Bangkok is one of our top favourite cities in the world. In fact, we love all of Thailand and miss it dearly. To help us (and you), #KeepYourMindTravelling in the Thai capital and beyond, the lovely folk at the Siam@Siam Design Hotel(s) (there are two, one in Bangkok and the other in Pattaya), have put together a list of movies shot in Thailand, from the chaotic, but charming Thai capital in The Hangover 2, to the dense jungles and crystal waters of The Beach; plus a few more that you might not have known about … from directors the likes of Wong Kar Wai (In the Mood for Love is one of our all-time, beautiful films – part of this cinematic classic was shot in Bangkok’s Chinatown), to Nicolas Winding-Refn.
