The news is that Grantley Hall – a Grade II listed property in the idyllic Yorkshire countryside – has opened with a whole new look. The money-pit makeover has returned the British property to its former glory, creating 47 rooms and suites, along with a range of drinking and fine-dining eateries. We’re looking forward to the new pan-Asian restaurant, promising the best sushi in the north of England and, by the look of things, its spa is going to be perfect for OutThere travellers looking for a bit of Zen. But the flavour of the Mystic East doesn’t end there – the hall’s opening will unveil its best-kept secret, an English Heritage-listed Japanese garden in the property’s grounds.
